The exterior of the case was aged and damaged just like the insides. First, I worked it with a Dremel to destroy some areas to simulate corrosion and decay. I used this technique on each plastic part of the case. Once I was satisfied with my \"damaging\" of the case, the finishing rust was added.

Someone left the case out in the rain...


All the UV lights are hidden inside the case. The only one that can be seen is behind the door window. I did not want them to be visible from the exterior, I just wanted a halo of UV light to make the etchings on the orange Perspex glow.

For example here are two 10 cm cathodes that are hidden behind the broken motherboard cover i made earlier.

The UV effect is very cool through the etchings
